Review of St. Lukes Brooklands - Community Team written by a family member
3rd January 2018

There was so much that was good about the care my midwife received from Kezzi Lagor that it is impossible to capture it all here. In essence, it boiled down to: 1. Proactively tackling issues arising on two occasions arranging for admittance to the local general hospital at Derrford. 2. Extremely good pain management. Very approachable, good interpersonal skills. I can't think of anything that could be improved.

1. Understanding the patient's needs. 2. Talking to the patients, making them feel cared for and relaxed. 3. As a family member it's been reassuring to learn that the staff are always approachable ion answering any questions and concerns we have.

It was when my doctor said I would be having someone to see me, not long after a lady was at the door to say she was from St Luke's, she said right away she was going to make things like seeing my medication was right also helping a lot in other things. She's doing all that now and more. Her name is Irene Humphrey's, she's wonderful in things I need. She just say's leave it to me and it's done. I cannot thank her enough for what she has done for me and taken away stress I had a lot of my pain is not as bad. Well done. Lovely work.
